A very busy port with one of the deepest natural harbours in the world. I think it's the third deepest!

Swanpool

This is the pool which gives Swanpool it's name. It is a protected nature reserve and has swans and several species of ducks.

This is a little wren's nest made in the ivy on the garage wall! So small! It is no bigger than my hand!

Inside Pendennis Castle

Henry VIII built Pendennis and it's sister castle at St Mawes to protect the Falmouth Estuary from the marauding Spanish! Today it's a great tourist attraction and various parts of the castle, like this room, have been made up as they would have been in the 16th century.
